Meet Jodie, Kyla, Max, and Marinela

Jodie Quinter, Influencer Marketing Coordinator

What’s your background? Tell me your story.

I recently completed my undergrad as a marketing major at Temple University in Philadelphia and plan to move back home to Boston where I am from. In the past I wanted to work in video editing, and although this is no longer the case, I still enjoy using the creative side of my brain which I think is important for Influencer Marketing!

Explain your job to a first grader.

I help clients reach business goals by finding social media influencers to promote a brand or product.

How do you do your job differently?

I work best when I have a clear list of actionable steps I need to take, so I ask as many questions as possible to clarify everything I do.

What are you most passionate about?

I am passionate about spending quality time with my family and friends, cooking good meals, and a good cup of coffee!

Kyla Rattin, Influencer Marketing Coordinator

What’s your background? Tell me your story.

After living in Maine, Colorado, California and Ohio, I finally followed my small town girl dreams and moved to NYC!! I graduated from Chapman University in 2020 with a B.S. in Business Administration and have been working in social media and digital marketing for the past few years. I love food, traveling, running, and meeting new people!

Explain your job to a first grader.

I help brands connect with their audiences in a more authentic way by finding people on Instagram and Tik Tok to share their favorite products.

How do you do your job differently?

I always try to remember that even in professional interactions, everyone is human. Whether I’m communicating internally or externally I strive to be authentic, transparent and empathetic to people and their situations. I find that when there is mutual trust, business relationships thrive and deliver the greatest return.

What are you most passionate about?

I am super passionate about health and wellness and sharing my knowledge with others. I have always found that when I take care of myself, I show up better for the people around me, and I love sharing my experience with others in hopes of benefitting even just one person.

Max Quintas- Sales Development Representative

What’s your background? Tell me your story.

I was born and raised in New Jersey, and being so close to the city, I think I’ve always had the goal of making it in New York in mind. I recently graduated from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business with a B.S. in Marketing, so I’m really glad a company like Jun Group gave me the opportunity to work in the ad industry! Currently, I’m still in Jersey, but I hope to move into the city soon. In my free time, you can find me doing something creative, like painting or making digital art.

Explain your job to a first grader.

Think of my job like selling Girl Scout cookies, except I don’t actually sell the cookies. I just help the other scouts by telling them which houses to go to.

How do you do your job differently?

I try to be very observant and understanding of what I’m doing and how it relates to the bigger picture. As an SDR, a lot of my tasks can be very routine in nature, so it’s easy to sometimes get stuck in the trap of just going through the motions. However, the things I do contribute to the overall sales process, so I like talking to sellers to figure out their strategy and how that should affect my prospecting. Intentionally being more thoughtful with my duties makes things more interesting and rewarding; I end most days feeling like I’ve learned something new that will help me as I continue to grow into my career.

What are you most passionate about?

I’m very passionate about the relationships I form. I’ve always been a people person and I go crazy if I go too long without talking to someone (which isn’t very long). I really value my friendships, and I devote a lot of my time to spending time with others.

Marinela Torres- Strategy and Design Coordinator

What’s your background? Tell me your story.

I am from the Philippines and moved to New Jersey when I was 7 years old. I love to stay active and grew up playing a lot of sports including track, soccer, and volleyball. For college, I went to Pace University in downtown Manhattan, where I explored the city and its rich culture and food. With a double minor in Graphic Design and Business Analytics, I knew that there was a sweet spot in the marketing industry where you can blend your left and right brain to create beautifully designed campaigns driven by data – and interestingly enough, that’s when I stumbled upon the strategy and design team at Jun Group.

Explain your job to a first grader.

My job melds the world of creativity and strategic thinking in creating ad campaigns that engage the right people, at the right time, and at the right place.

How do you do your job differently?

I constantly ask “why”? It’s not enough to just ask questions and understand how to do things, rather understanding the “why” and rationale behind decisions and strategies is really where the learning begins.

What are you most passionate about?

I am most passionate about staying active not only physically, but mentally as well. Constantly learning new things and challenging perspectives is just as important as exercising and pushing your physical boundaries.
